Quiet Current
The channel is the composition.
Two dark gestures move past each other and leave an untouched passage between them. One gathers weight before tapering; the other gives the eye a longer, lighter turn. Their relationship matters more than either shape alone. The work is an original abstract drawing rather than a borrowed symbol. Read it first from a distance, as a silhouette, then notice the small variations at the edges. The open channel is not an unfinished area. It is the part that gives the entire image its movement.
