Imagined portrait of Toma Senn

Fictional artist / Geometric studies

Toma Senn

Toma studies the beauty of a deliberate gap.

A rule becomes a rhythm when you interrupt it.

In Toma’s imagined drawing practice, a repeated line is a way of measuring space. The interest arrives with a small change: an offset, a break, a curve that refuses to complete itself. Folded Horizon uses open angular paths; Meridian Study sets vertical lines against shallow arcs and a dispersed field of dots. Neither borrows a religious diagram or promises a symbolic meaning. They are original studies in balance and interruption. Toma’s starting questions are practical ones about the image: where is the main direction, how close should the lines sit, and which area needs to stay quiet? A rough sketch with one clear relationship can be more useful than a crowded board of finished work.
